This cracked texture of a frozen lake in Russia totally fascinated me and inspired a entire artwork series
Series presented as a polyptych to recreate the sensation of cinematic movement experienced as walking beside this frozen lake and witnessing this fabulous richness of textures and evolution of snow ball projections.
For my "Rebirth" solo exhibition gathering series created from recycled elements, I associated the prints with old Russian recycled lace to play with the association of ice crystals geometry. A handmade cotton paper was chosen for its result similar to paintings.
