2017 Series made entirely from recycled computer microchips associated with miniatures, text and recycled wooden boxes.
Each piece resonates with a specific emotion, induced by the text incantations and the miniatures.
2017 - "Life is a game / A vida é um jogo" & " Brazilian optimism" 50x40 cm
This couple playing tennis with the incantation "life is a game" is an invitation to change one's mindset about life, from heavyness and seriousness to playfullness. The text was chosen in portuguese as I was living in Sao Paulo, and surrouned by the Brazilian spirit, famous to promote this vision.
This Brazilian optimism reflects in its language. The traditional answer is "I am feeling falulous, everything is great, everything will turn out for the best / Tudo vai dar certo, tudo otimo, tudo joia""
